My fiancee and I take a sunday bike ride to the nearest grocery store, before I purchased these Avenir Metro Panniers we were just strapping bookbags on our backs to carry the groceries, it was not ideal. I did a lot of research on different bags here on amazon, and read all the reviews and decided these seemed the best for the price, and I was right. Fits perfectly onto my bike rack, doesn’t flap in the wind or anything. Easy to install, easy to remove. Carries A LOT of food, in my opinion, at least a lot more than two book bags. Extremely happy with these. :)
